ADAM HERNÁNDEZ

Hello, my name is Adam Hernández. Since childhood, art has been my refuge and passion. I was born into a family of artists: my grandfather Francisco Hernández and my uncle Sócrates Hernández were both painters, and my uncle, in particular, had a huge influence on me. We spent hours discussing art history, and thanks to him, I became acquainted with artists like Rembrandt and Vincent Van Gogh.

I began my artistic journey by taking painting and drawing courses at the Cristóbal Rojas Academy of Fine Arts in Caracas, Venezuela. Later, I delved into abstract and impressionist painting with professors Joyner and Burridge. Today, I focus on abstract and pop art paintings depicting people, animals, and landscapes. My style has been described as a mix of abstract pop art and urban influences, and I love working with various materials such as acrylics, paper, pastels, watercolors, and inks.

One of the fondest memories of my artistic career dates back to when I was 14 years old. At school, I created a large painting of Christopher Columbus to celebrate the "Discovery of the Americas," and my class won first prize. This moment solidified my love for art and encouraged me to continue creating.

I firmly believe that "Those who seek shall find." My philosophy of life is based on passion, perseverance, and the will to follow one’s dreams, even in the face of difficulties. Each of my creations is a tribute to the dedication and love for art.

When I was offered the opportunity to bring my works to t-shirts, I saw a chance to let my art live in a new and dynamic way. I imagine people wearing these t-shirts as guardians of my creations, bearers of a piece of my story and artistic vision. It’s a way to make art more accessible, not just to admire but to live, wear, and share. With this project, I hope to create a deeper connection between art and those who wear it, transforming each t-shirt into a message, into a unique piece that can convey emotions and reflections to anyone who encounters it.
